GATHERING LIGHT FUNDRAISER

 

Come join us in celebration of National Aboriginal Day on Thursday June 21st as we share our full-length work of Gathering Light choreographed by Michelle Olson for ONE NIGHT ONLY with Vancouver audiences as part of our national tour this summer performing in Edmonton, the Yukon and Ottawa as part of the Canada Dance Festival!

“From seed to flower, from girl to woman, from structures that do not support our own truths to ceremonies that support our full bloom, Gathering Light explores the impulses rooted in our bodies and that travel through us to find the light.”

Our evening will also include our silent auction with amazing items to bid on during this mix of great art, good food and good folks!  Hope you can come and join us!

All proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting Gathering Light to be on tour this summer as well as the beginning seeds of an Aboriginal Youth Training Fund created in partnership with Presentation House Theatre and Raven Spirit Dance.
